Theoretically, I'm supposed to have four designs included in the book. With the November 1st deadline looming, I will likely only have two, maaaayyyyybbeee three ready in time, but that's OK. So far, I have one sample and pattern complete - the BIGGIE - and I'm about 1/3 of the way through the second one. Keep your eyes peeled for updates.
Oh, and I even have a "designer bio" and everything!
Sorry I can't show you pictures of yarny goodness, but I'm sure ya'll understand that I can't show you anything here until the book comes out.
SIDE NOTE: That DVD Wendy made with Interweave Press? The one coming out next month or so? I knit one of the prop sweaters for it. (She had to have the same sweater in various stages of completion. The one with just one sleeve? I made that. Really. I have a horribly unflattering, lots-of-old-lady-neck photo of me in it to prove it!) And her next book coming up? Yupp, I did some sample knitting for that, too. Just sayin'.
OK, now that I've tooted my own horn, I'm bound to mess up my next project in a big way. Oh, well. Such is life.
