Riverstone Boatneck

Whew!  The DVD came out, so now I can talk about it!  Behold the Riverstone Boatneck by Wendy Bernard, knit as a prop for her Knitting From The Top Down With Wendy Bernard DVD she made with/for Interweave.  Wendy knit the full sweater and needed "prop" sweaters of it in various stages of completion, so I got to make the "body with one sleeve done" version.

WB #4

As with all Wendy's patterns, this was clearly-written and a joy to knit.  And the yarn?  Berroco Ultra Alpaca, so how can you go wrong?  This is yet another example of my not having a concept of my size:  The sweater looked TINY to me, though I had the right gauge, it was the right size, etc.  Just for grins, I tried it on.  As you can see, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it fit me.  I will DEFINITELY knit this baby again, but for ME this time!

Please pardon the "old lady neck".  I should know better than to allow someone to photograph me from below by now...
