"Cap and Trade"

My pal Tanya picked up some mystery bulky velour/chenille yarn at the last Stitches West.  She knew how to make a garter stitch scarf, but she also wanted a hat out of it, so she asked me if I could make one for her, similar to my "It's COLD in Boston" hat.  In return, she did some sewing for me.  So, there you have it:  cap (OK, more of a beret) and trade.*
