Christmas Music Traditions

What Christmas music did you grow up listening to?  What is your favorite?  Is there some song or album that to you just "makes" Christmas, without which it just wouldn't be Christmas?

Other albums were added over the years, but the two main Christmas albums my family listened to as I was growing up were Christmas With Ed Ames and A John Gary Christmas.  Their voices were very different - one low and sonorous, one a sweet tenor - but when I think of Christmas music, this is what I think of.

No longer having access to these albums (when WILL they release them on CD or on iTunes??), I have had to develop some new traditions.

There is the beautiful and angelic Sarah McLachlan:

The haunting Sting:

And the variety pack Barenaked Ladies.  At first, I was annoyed that this one just said "Holiday".  I mean, it has a big Christmas ornament on the front, so why don't they just say "Christmas"?  Then I looked at the song list.  Oh.  It has a couple of Hannukah songs, some Christmas songs, some general winter, and a New Year's Eve song (Auld Lang Syne).  Yupp, "Holiday" IS appropriate (Unlike the "holiday stockings" Thing Two & I saw at the mall yesterday.  DUH, Christmas is the only holiday that uses stockings, so get over it and just call them Christmas stockings, people; NO ONE will be offended!!)
So, what do YOU listen to at Christmas?
