So, one of my goals for 2011 is to stretch myself a bit in my crafting. The Iron Craft challenges seemed a bit more up my alley than some of the others out there involving daily photos, etc., so I joined up. I doubt I'll be able to pull off all 52 challenges (I don't think Hubby would want me to go out and buy a glue gun and a bunch of other stuff just so I could complete the challenges), so my personal goal is to complete at least 30 of the 52 weekly challenges.
The first challenge has been posted. Let's see...am I up to this one?
"Lighting the Winter Gloom" - The idea is to add some light to the dark winter nights (and dreary winter days) by creating something light-related - candle holders, luminarias, lampshades, etc. I have until next Tuesday to complete this. Hmmm...my brain is burbling. Yes, I think I can pull this one off. Watch this space for pictures.
I think this is a pretty easy one & can be done with stuff around the house, don't you?
ReplyDeleteYupp! I had a few different ideas, but I went with the one that gave me warm, fuzzy, "I remember being a kid in the 1970's" feeling.
