A Teaser For Tuesday - Bertha

This is not Bertha.  NONONONONONONO, I can't introduce you to Bertha...not yet.  This, however, is Bertha's older sister.  We'll call her...hmmm...Patti.  Yupp, Patti works.  Patti is calm and delicate and pretty and spring-like and makes you think of meadows and leaves and flowers and happy things.  Bertha?  Not so much.  They do, however, have their similarities.  If you get to know Patti a little bit, then meet Bertha, you'll understand what I mean.  After all, they're sisters; they're bound to be somewhat similar, right?  Right?

Bertha's "coming out party" will be soon - next month in fact.  In case you haven't figured it out by now, Bertha is one of my patterns from What Would Madame Defarge Knit?, due out next month from Cooperative Press (Shannon Okey!), edited by the ever-fabulous Heather Ordover of CraftLit fame.

Want a clue?  Well, OK, I'll give you one eensy clue about Bertha, just two words for ya.  Ready?  Here ya go:  Jane Eyre.
