For this one, I envision a medium-to-large round white button. I think I'll do a loop, not a tab, for the closure.

I'm done with the actual knitting on these; they just need ends woven in, buttons purchased and attached, and a nice bath. SEE, I actually HAVE been knitting lately, though I haven't written about it in a while, LOL.

For the second sweater I could see those old-fashioned glass buttons that are blue and white...I don't know how else to explain them, but the feel of that sweater and those buttons would be beautiful, I think.
