Spinning & Dyeing

Last Thursday at dye class, Joy-Lily gave us each an ounce or so of natural off-white roving.  She intended for us to make sheets of felt for dyeing but, c'mon - I just couldn't do that to some perfectly good roving.  While she demonstrated the feltmaking, I pre-drafted my share.  Over the weekend, I turned it into this:

No idea how many yards it is (I've asked Hubby to make me a niddy noddy from PVC tubing), but it's 9/10 of an ounce.  I'll dye it this Thursday and show you pictures afterwards.
