Leaving Portland - A Trip to Twisted!

We couldn't leave the Portland area without a trip to the premier LYS, Twisted.  Why?  Well, not just because it's a TERRIFIC shop, but also because Emily, one of the owners, used to work with Poppa at...at...at The Evil Red Menace To The South (you know, that JUNIOR university in Palo Alto).  Luckily, Emily was there that day, and when she heard that "Walt's Daughter" was out front, she came out right away with a big smile on her face.

I'm telling you, if I lived in or near Portland, I would spend SO MUCH TIME there.  Emily seems like she would be loads of fun to hang out with, the shop is very comfortable, has a terrific selection of yarn and fiber, etc., etc.  Please do check them out at http://www.twistedpdx.com.  <end commercial>

Oh, and to answer the obvious question burning in all your minds:  Three pretty wooden buttons for my Tappan Zee and an adorable giraffe button for the Abagail [sic] sweater I had nearly finished for Tracy's baby girl.
