PROBLEMS:
- They don't list everything on the menu. Example: NONE of the entrees were listed as coming with vegetables, so I thought I couldn't do my usual, "Can I get this, but with x instead of a and y instead of b?" As it turns out, Andrew's scallops came with asparagus & green beans, so I asked for some asparagus. When we asked if they had fries, she said they did - but on the children's menu - so Andrew asked her to bring me fries (3x as much as I needed!!).
- The waitress should have been more proactive when we first told her what I needed.
- I should have trusted more in the restaurant's desire to take my money...I mean sell me food. I had scoured the menu and asked, but I should have been more persistent and direct. It would have saved me a lot of stress and anger.
So, in the end, I had a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, some really food asparagus, and fries. Having to order so many separate things definitely jacks up the bill, but at least I wasn't also having liquor and dessert!
Oh, and Andrew said his key lime martini and key lime pie were really good. :-)
