Adventures in Hair Dye

FIRST, if you have dark brown hair, you have to bleach the parts you want to dye if you want the color to be noticeable:




THEN you get to put the incredibly concentrated red dye on the bleached bits:




It would have turned out better if she'd been more patient and let me spend more time on it, but SHE likes it, and that's all that really matters.  We'll see how long it lasts.  If she decides she hates it, we can get rid of a lot of it just by getting her hair cut.

An interesting way to start out eighth grade, yes?
