Rhinebeck Envy

Now is the time when lucky knitters congregate in Rhinebeck, NY for the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival, known to knitters simply as "Rhinebeck".  It's a big deal - people knit new sweaters just for the occasion (Google "Rhinebeck Sweater"), houses are rented by groups of friends, and shenanigans ensue.

While many people fly long distances to attend Rhinebeck, I have yet to do so, and every year, I experience a bout of #rhinebeckenvy.
