I know. I'm SO lame. These were 1/2 of my vacation knitting when Hubby & I went to Singapore in 2009. I worked on them, set them aside when I got bored, worked on them, set them aside, totally forgot about them, etc., etc. - you get the picture. For me, this month is all about "Finish it or Frog it" (and it's not even February!), so I picked these up a few days ago. Amazing that I got bored and set them aside when I had so little left to do! (Hmmm...I did this on the last socks I knit, too.)
According to some people, these are my first real socks b/c they're my first socks using actual sock yarn and small (US 1/2.25 mm) needles. Apparently, the three pairs of Fixation socks a couple of years ago don't count, LOL. Anyhow, behold The Purple Socks of Pain*:
*So called b/c of the extreme boredom involved in "plain vanilla" socks like this, not b/c they were hard to knit or anything.
