Iron Craft 2011 - Challenge #7 - COMPLETE

This week's challenge was "Midas Touch".  I remembered that I had some sparkly gold crochet cotton in my stash, so decided I *had* to participate.  I had a hard time figuring out what to make that wouldn't be too predictable or cheesy, but then I had an idea.

Behold Midas's Bookmark and Book Thong:

  The bookmark will look much better once it's been blocked, but to qualify for this week's challenge, I had to get pictures up right away.  PLUS, I had to make the most of a brief break in the rain to get some photos.  After I've blocked it, I'll post more pictures.
