Reality Check

Had to give myself a tough reality check yesterday and admit that I was never going to get around to finishing my Pi Shawl from 2009, that there wasn't enough yarn to do it, and that I didn't think I could figure out where I left off.  I was really sad because it was SO PRETTY.  Since I was sad about sending it off to the frog pond, I pinned it out and got lots of pictures before I ripped it out and rewound the yarn.  At least I'll always have the pictures...and the memories of knitting on it in the lobby of the Hotel Intercontinental in Singapore.  Le sigh.
