In light of yesterday's suicide of a boy from Thing One's school (a graduate of Thing Two's school, known to many students and teachers there), I say this:
If you know a teenager, go hug said teenager RIGHT NOW.
I am SO grateful for the trusted people involved in my daughters' lives, people they can talk to, should they not be able to talk to Andrew and me.
