Knit-Picking

First off, WOULD YOU LOOK WHAT'S COMING OUT IN APRIL?

Wendy's got a new book coming out!

Yes, Wendy Bernard has a new book coming out.  Her last book, Up, Down, All-Around Stitch Dictionary is an incredibly useful resource.  This one comes out in late April...just in time for Mother's Day 2016 (nudges offspring).

In other knitting news...hmmm...not a lot of "public" knitting I can show you.

Some cashmere baby slippers for one of Andrew's
co-workers.  I used leftover Pepperberry Knits
yarn from a soon-to-be-published pattern.

A random dishcloth because I wanted to knit
during the football game, but it was evening,
and my "real" project was in a nearly-black
charcoal grey, which I can only see properly
during the day.

A bagful of swatches.  This is about as much
detail as I can show you at the moment.

More Swatches

So, back I go to the swatches.  I'm kind of stuck on something because I'm designing it with a gradient yarn in mind for "the real thing", but I don't happen to have any gradient on-hand right now (I gave my one precious skein to a test-knitter).  Somebody block my computer from going to Fresh From the Cauldron or KnitCircus, quick!
