Designs in the Wild - Mesherchief

Next up in our continuing series of "Designs in the Wild" is Mesherchief.  As written and shown here, it calls for just one skein of Cascade Yarns Venezia Worsted, a wonderfully drapey silk/merino blend.

Here, however, is how it looks knit by my friend Audrey in the 100% wool Cascade 220 Superwash:

Mesherchief knits up very quickly on size 10/6mm needles - in only two or three days - so it makes a great last-minute gift.  Now that I think about it, I need a couple of Christmas gifts still, and I certainly have a boatload of Cascade 220 in my stash (c'mon, don't we ALL?)....
